Many people experience failures and lose their self-confidence. The good news is there are many ways you can go about rebuilding your self-confidence again so you can continue living life to its fullest.

From time to time we experience negative events in our life that can really put a dent in our self-confidence. Sometimes even mean comments from people around us can affect our level of self-confidence, but probably the worst killer of our self-confidence is ourselves.

We can be our own worst enemy.  When we bombard ourselves with so many negative thoughts, we become what we think.

Today, we are going to learn ways to combat the inner and outer negativity that can damage our self-confidence.

Self-confidence is something that we need to build up in our everyday lives. If we want to be successful in any part of our life, we must first learn to build our self-confidence and step out of our comfort zone.

Successful people always wear their crown of confidence at all times and it’s one of the main keys for their success.

I believe nobody is born with limitless self-confidence, but it was something that the person worked on building for years and kept it growing so it could continue evolving.

If you have experienced so many major setbacks in your life and you are not sure which way the path of recovery is, then today I will show you with these 10 amazing ways you can follow in order to rebuild your self-confidence and improve your life.

If you initiate the action and add a little patience and determination, then these tips will certainly help you build your self-confidence.

I know it’s easier said than done and stepping out of your comfort zone can be quite challenging. However, we all know that living your best life starts when you learn to face your fears and step out of your comfort zone.

So are you ready to take the challenge?

Then let’s dive in and start building your self-confidence.

10 Surefire Ways to Boost Your Self-Confidence

10 Surefire Ways to Boost Your Self-Confidence

1.Visualization techniques.

Visualization is one of the most powerful ways to boost your confidence.

Visualization is the strategy that you use by seeing an image of yourself being proud and confident.

I know this can be challenging, especially when we are struggling with low self-confidence.  We tend to have poor perception of ourselves that is often inaccurate.

Practice visualizing an incredible version of yourself achieving your visions and goals.

“What the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve.” — Napoleon Hill

If your self-confidence is easily destroyed by self-doubt and anxiety, then The Undefeated Mind is a great book to build your inner strength in order to overcome hard times.

2. Practice positive affirmations.

Affirmations are uplifting and positive statements that we say to ourselves repetitively. When we say something positive to ourselves, we tend to believe them. Positivity attracts positivity.

How you view yourself can make a huge impact on your self-confidence.

So to make a lasting change is to change how you view yourself by repeating positive statements to yourself everyday.

When you look in the mirror, you may be unhappy with your appearance.  Instead of saying negative things, say something that you like or appreciate about yourself.

Below are some examples of positive affirmations to say to yourself everyday that will boost your self-confidence.

  • I have high self-esteem.
  • I love and respect myself.
  • I am a great person.
  • My thoughts and opinions are valuable.
  • I am confident that I can achieve anything.
  • I have something special to offer the world.
  • Others like and respect me.
  • I am a wonderful human being I feel great about myself and my life.
  • I am worthy of having high self-confidence.
  • I believe in myself.
  • I deserve to feel good about myself.

3. Challenge yourself to do one thing that causes you to step out of your comfort zone everyday.

Learn to face your fears by getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. Stop underestimating yourself, instead take the challenge and believe that you are capable of doing something amazing.

So what are your fears?

I challenge you to write down all your fears. Because the best way to overcome your fear is to face it head on. So if you write them down, you can pinpoint what your fears really are and learn to face them one day at a time.

By practicing these challenges daily, you will gain amazing experience and will see your self-confidence soar like a skyrocket.

“Don’t be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart.”― Roy T. Bennett

You may be surprised how much you can accomplish when you believe in yourself and keep a positive attitude.

That’s why the book, Believe you can:  the power of positive attitude, by John Mason is on my list of recommended books to read.  This book is informative and practical in that it can help you develop and maintain a positive attitude and boost your confidence.

4. Stop criticizing yourself.

Sometimes we are our own worst critics. We tend to criticize ourselves and that can have a long lasting damaging effect on our self-confidence.

Instead of criticizing yourself, find ways to compliment, congratulate, and reward yourself even if it feels like a small success.

“You’ve been criticising yourself for years and it hasn’t worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens.”― Louise Hay

5. Take the 100-day rejection challenge.

Jia Jiang shared his amazing 100 days of rejection challenge and it made a huge impact on his life as well as many others who took the challenge. He purposely made crazy requests from different people in order to be rejected in 100 days. You will be blown away by his purpose to desensitize himself to rejection.

Killing your fears is never easy, but if you want to have fun while building up your self-confidence, this is the incredible and powerful way to do it.

6. Set one goal at a time for yourself.

Set yourself up to win one goal at a time. We often become discouraged with our abilities because we try to take on too much at one time. Try focusing on one goal at a time.

In order to build up your confidence, set small goals.

These small victories will add up to larger ones if you just keep at it.  Once you have achieved one small goal, reward yourself and keep on setting new goals.

Start with achieving several short term goals as then work your way up to the long term goals.

You will come to realize that the time you spent accomplishing these small goals was in fact helping to raise your levels of self-confidence.

Remember to write down all your goals and always keep a journal with you so you can always look back and remind yourself how far you’ve come along.

7. Volunteer.

Helping others enables us to put our own needs aside.

When you are helping others, you will realize how amazing that feeling can be. You will see the difference that you can make in someone else’s life, and that can be quite a confidence booster.

So instead of focusing on your own weaknesses, volunteer to help with charity organization, mentor someone, or teach a particular skill set you have to someone, and you will see your self-confidence grow without even realizing it. It will become natural to you when you start to feel good about yourself.

A random act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a tremendous impact on someone else’s life.”― Roy T. Bennett

8. Practice self-care.

Self-care and self-love is essential when it comes to boosting your self-confidence.   It is an act of taking care of yourself mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. It is an act of falling in love with your mind, body, and soul.

Self-care is one of the key strategies to build up your confidence, because when you look good, you feel good.

Self-care is important in order for you to feel good about yourself both mentally and physically. When self-care is practiced correctly, it has long term benefits for our mind, body, and success.

The more control you have over your own life, the greater you will be more confident about yourself.

“Live the Life of Your Dreams: Be brave enough to live the life of your dreams according to your vision and purpose instead of the expectations and opinions of others.”― Roy T. Bennett,

10. Shift to an equality mentality.

When we are struggling with low self-confidence, we often compare ourselves to others and see them as better or more deserving than ourselves. Instead of carrying this mentality, see yourself as being equal to everyone.

Everybody has different experiences and they are no better or more deserving than you. Make a mental shift to an equality mentality and you will see an improvement in your self-confidence.

Believe in your heart that you’re meant to live a life full of passion, purpose, magic and miracles.”― Roy T. Bennett,
